     Merry Meet! I trust all your holidays were happy and fun filled. This February brings a good opportunity for fun at our Dessert & Divination Psychic Faire on February 11th from 1-6pm. You can get a reading (10-15min.), a dessert and beverage all for just $15! Psychic's Thyme will open as usual at noon so you can get your tickets then or at the door inside the shop all day. Proceeds from this faire go to Rochester Pagan Pride to offset the expenses of Pagan Pride day in the fall. Come and bring a friend!! Artful Body Henna will be here that day as well.

     Vajra Reiki will be offered again this month taught by Ken Cuyler a drug and alcohol counselor. I took this class last time and it was a wonderful eye opening journey. This is Reiki for SELF healing and as such you learn a lot about YOU. I can't recommend it highly enough. It starts February 7th and is a 5 week course cost is $65. Please reserve your place asap.

     Krafty Kids, a workshop for kids from 5 up, is led by Lynne of Artful Body Henna. You child can create some awesome art and have some fun. Cost is just $10 and includes materials reservations are required so we have enough crafty stuff. This workshop will run every month on the last Saturday from 1-2pm.

     As always, if the weather is bad and they tell us to stay off the roads, call ahead to be sure we are open. So far winter has been kind but this is Rochester!     Blessings See you all soon!

Another Chance Pet Rescue

 

Dear Friends of Another Chance,

 

We are reaching out to our past adopters and supporters with an urgent plea for help.  Another Chance Pet Rescue has been hit very hard this past year due to the poor economy.  We are a non profit, 501c3 organization that receives no funding and relies solely on public donations.  Adoptions and donations have been very slow.  Despite these challenges, we still managed to save over 1000 more cats and dogs from euthanasia in 2010.  We have lowered our adoption fees to much less than what we spend to fully vet the animals in hopes of finding more homes, but this has put us in serious financial need. These vet bills have cost thousands of dollars that we just don't have.  I am hoping that each of you can reach out to family and friends and let them know of the desperate situation we are in, and ask them to help us to keep going and keep saving lives.  If everyone gave just a few dollars, it would go a long way in helping these animals.
