Happy Holidays and a big Thank You to all our customers,

 "Old" & New!

 

Here are the events and classes for December and January 2012. December's Seance is the 7th and is still just $20. New activities on Saturdays include Artful Body Henna on the second Saturday of the month and Krafty Kids, a workshop for kids 5 and up, the fourth Saturday starting in January.

December 17th Jeanne Treat will be here for a book signing. Her three novels Dark Birthright, Dark Lord, and the newest, Dark Destiny are a great read and I am not a fan of period novels but her characters are both interesting and believable. These books make nice holiday gifts.
Other December events; Womyn's Drum Circle on the 13th, Open Singing Circle the 14th and Open Yule Circle the 21st led by Daughters of the Midnight Moon. Our regular events Healing Exchange Circle, Singing Bowl and Guided Meditation are still on as well.

January brings two classes. Wicca 2 starts Saturday January 7th. You must have successfully completed our Wicca 1 to be in this class. Beginning Tarot starts the 18th. bring your deck or borrow one of ours.  January's Seance is Friday the 6th. For times and prices on classes or events check our online calendar.

Another Chance Pet Rescue

 

Dear Friends of Another Chance,

 

We are reaching out to our past adopters and supporters with an urgent plea for help.  Another Chance Pet Rescue has been hit very hard this past year due to the poor economy.  We are a non profit, 501c3 organization that receives no funding and relies solely on public donations.  Adoptions and donations have been very slow.  Despite these challenges, we still managed to save over 1000 more cats and dogs from euthanasia in 2010.  We have lowered our adoption fees to much less than what we spend to fully vet the animals in hopes of finding more homes, but this has put us in serious financial need. These vet bills have cost thousands of dollars that we just don't have.  I am hoping that each of you can reach out to family and friends and let them know of the desperate situation we are in, and ask them to help us to keep going and keep saving lives.  If everyone gave just a few dollars, it would go a long way in helping these animals.
